Marta's new work is back to canvas with multi-media contents. All of these are hugely horizontal but they still retain the core influences seen in her other paintings: bright colors, images from her childhood, the spirit worlds of both Buddhism and the ancient Maya, and just plain whimsy. The mixed media work is multi-layered and done with painted paper, photographs and found images.
