The Bates College Mural Project | 2004 | Lewiston, Maine

Marta was commisioned by the college to teach mural painting to Bates students as part of a Spanish Language course about the "muralista" movement in Mexico and Central America. Part of the commision included painting two canvases to be hung in Hawthorn Hall, a historic building on the Bates Campus. Courso información in español. Bates Now article.
